The Marvel Heroes RPG Plot
After Avenger's Disassembled, the world was without Super-Hero teams. The Fantastic Four took a break, Professor Xavier went to visit Lilandra, and they left S.H.I.E.L.D. to pick up the slack. Colonel Fury did a good job, until the symbiote population on Earth spiked. With his own right hand, Natasha Romanova, recently recovered from being inadvertently infected with a symbiote, things fell into chaos. Luckily, Captain Steve Rogers, better known as Captain America, reformed the Avengers. Some were old members, some new. Xavier, however, returned to a different setting. The X-Men fighting amongst themselves, students revealing symbiote infections, Xavier has returned to a mess. But now, Mystique of the Brotherhood Of Evil Mutants has kidnapped Captain America, and framed the X-Men. Col. Nick Fury is retiring from S.H.I.E.L.D. due to a failure in the Infinity Formula. Tony Stark is trying to help find a cure but is distracted by issues with Hawkeye. At the same time, Ben Reilly suddenly returns from the dead. Will the Heroes survive the outcome of these events, or will the lack in co-operation between teams finally be the downfall of the Super-Human community once and for all?
